Our youngest daughter had been to Anegada during a month long sail in the islands and leeward islands. On our most recent family excursion, we were glad we took the time for the roughly 2 hour plus sail to this lovely island. It is flat but the beaches are really pretty. We moored on the westernmost side of the island... more

I hesitated to book here as it was at a lower price range than we usually book but am very glad we did. The place in reality looks better than it does on the pictures on the web site. We found our room clean, comfortable and with a little bit of a funky vibe. Purple triangle cone lamps that I... more

We concluded our BVI vacation at the Anegada Reef Hotel. Having traveled extensively in the BVI's, we were not anticipating luxury, but we were expecting cleanliness and the basics. This hotel provided both, we were happy with the room which was comfortably furnished and was stocked with a cooler, flashlight and bug spray. Each day it was perfectly cleaned and... more

Tranquility and beauty are found at Cow Wreck Beach Resort- not luxury. It is an amazingly gorgeous location, very isolated and peaceful. The lobster is delicious but there are few other culinary treats on the island. Cow Wreck is perfect for a rustic honeymoon or romantic getaway. more

The walls here are paper thin. It probably would be OK most of the time, but we got three days and nights of crying baby. Food, as throughout the island, was fish or lobster in lots of butter. Friendly, laid back atmosphere. more

There are no words to describe the peace and tranquility I found on Anegada, especially at Neptune's Treasure. And I live in the Caribbean! Despite being a female traveling alone, I never once felt unsafe or lonely. Everyone I met on the island was friendly and helpful. Nowhere was this more the case than at Neptune's. I arrived on the... more

We stayed a few nights at the Reef Hotel and then stayed at Keel Point and wished we had stayed there for all the holiday. The Cottages overlook the north shore which is protected by the reef some way off shore this makes for very calm waters and great snorkeling. To wake up every morning to the sound of the... more

My wife and I stayed at Cow Wreck Beach Resort (in the "Hidden Treasure" cottage) for 2 weeks in April 2008. This cottage was almost brand new, having been completed in December 2007. it includes an air-conditioned, sparsely furnished bedroom, a small seating area that serves as a living room (with a futon on one side and a couch on... more

We spent 10 days at the cottages and loved it. They're secluded, yet located across a dune from the best place to snorkel we found. Most days we saw only one or two other people, although the weather wasn't great during most of our stay and there might be more folks around at other times. There are four separate cottages.... more

We rented 6 of the 7 villas for 6 days. We were never met by the owner upon arrival. I can understand why. The villas are not what they appeared to be on their website. None of the six had all working appliances (fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker). Three of the villas did not have hot water. The toilet in... more

Simple clean accomodations for a reasonable price. It is located across from a favorite Flamingo viewing point. Laid back family run environment with the best dinner on the island! Think value. more

Just returned from Anegada and Neptune's Treasure. What a wonderful, relaxing experience. Randy and everyone at Neptune's Treasure was great and so helpful with making sure a taxi was there to take us snorkeling around the island and back to the ferry. The lobster dinner was to die for! We ate dinner and breakfast there both days of our brief... more

We had a choice between two properties on this island, and I feel that we really lucked out with the Anegada Reef Hotel. We stayed for five nights in February, and took the full meal plan. Cost was $275 per night plus service. We were able to book a car ($55 per day + $20 per day insurance) to use... more

The cottage was basic but very nice and much like the rest of the island. Road are mostly sand but there is really no need for a car except perhaps a day ride around the island. It is very rural and certainly not for those who want ANY action. Restaurants close unless you call before 4 pm and order, for... more

My husband and I stayed at Neptune's Treasure January 14-18, 2008 and loved our stay! First, we loved the staff - George and everyone we met did everything they could to make our stay perfect! Neptune's Treasure and Anegada were exactly what we were looking for in a vacation spot.....relaxing, quiet, beautiful stretches of white sand beaches and fantastic snorkeling all to yourselves. This is a perfect island for people looking to get away and relax. Do not come here if you are looking for a party. Neptune's Treasure was wonderful. Everyone at the hotel... more

Absolutly the greatest spot on the island to stay. Your very own villa sitting on the beach twenty feet from the water. Sitting on the west end of the island the beach is well protected for swimming and snorkeling right in front of the villa and the sunsets are a once in a lifetime treat every afternoon. Incredible trip to a lovely island. Mermaids, pirates, miles of beautiful beaches with no one on them... Flamingos. Painkillers. 4 Wheel drive. Incredible people. You get waved at "hello" by the locals as you drive around the island. No crime at all. Don't go if you want a flashy, busy, artificial treasure.. Leave it for those of us who know... more
