Visted while in port on a cruise. A great destination for a little local history and culture. Took the local #10 jitney bus to/from the fort for $1 per person each way. This is a much bigger fort than Fort Fincastle. The government has started charging $5 a person to go inside but it is a good twenty minute tour. It's Okay. Gives you something to do on the Island, better then not doing anything and the best part is it is FREE. It is kind of creepy to know that people actually lived there once. more

It looked like it costs $5 to get in now. We went with a tour so did not pay. It is short and there is not much but a shell of a building. It needs some artifacts or something. But it is bahamian history, so if that is what you are looking for, it is worth it. more
