It was a small aquarium but the exhibits were alright. They didn't have much tropical fish but they had local fish, they also had a jellyfish exhibit which was great. The dolphins weren't really out on the day we went, we didn't see them. The otters were cute and the belugas were the best! The baby beluga was VERY cute.... more

Went here on a Wednesday morning and paid $19 CDN Adult and $14.50 Student. Small aquarium that didnt seen to know what it wanted to be. It had exhibits of marmosetts? and snakes and spiders not really deserving of being at an aquarium. The dolphin show was excellent and the baby baluga was cute but overall for the price it... more

Our friend highly recommended visiting the Aquarium during our visit to Vancouver. Compared to the New England Aquarium, I somehow prefer this one. Probably because it was less crowded. In terms of fish, mammals and other animals too (NEA's big and almost only attraction was the huge tank with all kinds of fish). There's even a small forest where you... more

Difficult to write a favorable review after having visited other great Aquariums like the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was actually DISTURBING to see how small some of the areas were for the animals like the SEA OTTERS more

It's small and crowded, and basically like every other aquarium you will visit in North America; however, they do have the Beluga's, so that is something worth seeing. more

I'm also not impressed with the cramped size of the aquarium for both the animals/mammals and the visitors. There are long lines and waits. If you can get beyond this the site itself is really quite interesting with the baby beluga and mother, the dolphins, seals, sea lions. Inside you can see the sharks, bats, etc. The price is about... more

It was our last day in Vancouver on vacation, and pouring rain, but we decided to head out to Stanley Park anyway. We found our way into Vancouver Aquarium and spent a happy day keeping dry, and enjoying all the fish and animals the Aquarium has to offer. Despite the rain, they still hosted their outdoor shows featuring the Baluga... more

The Vancouver Aquarium is a great place to view sea creatures and things of that nature. All though the viewing areas can get somewhat congested with children and families and strollers ect. on busy days, the layout of the facility makes it easy to get around. The price wasn't bad when i attended and they have student prices which is... more

This aquarium has quite a range of species, and the most popular attraction is the beluga whale, though I wasn't quite sure if their tank should have been larger, though the show was quite informative. The other species were really good to see, and it was entertaining watching sea lions spitting at people! It was a good day out and... more

This is a very good aquarium, lots of interesting exhibits, well worth spending half a day or more. We booked for the sea otter tour which was really worth it, after learning more about these creatures, we got to go and actually feed them pretty close up which was amazing. more
