Queen Elizabeth Park has the most beautiful gardens where an old rock quarry used to be. The outdoor gardens are FREE & well worth the short walk to them. We opted not to pay to tour the greenhouse. Queen Elizabeth Park is located about 15 minutes south of the Trans Canada, just east of downtown Vancouver. Parking for the day will cost you $6.00, but that is the only fee you'll pay to tour the park. The park itself is quite large, with a lovely scenic view of BC Place and the Vancouver tower. This is a beauuuutiful park. Obviously why there are often wedding parties here having their photo shoots amongst the flowers and on the rolling lawns... really great landscaping! more
