Having had calendar images of Poulnabrone in my kitchen for a year or two, Poulnabrone was on my "wish-list", and luckily, it was just a short drive away from our holiday cottage in Ballyvaughan. We drove right by this place on our way from Shannon airport to the Cliffs of Moher. Well, maybe we went a little out of our way but it was worth it. There is no car park, so everyone must park at the side of the (narrow) road. This can be an adventure if there are a few tour busses there, but it is well worth the hassle to see this site.
