All the walks with did on the Island were with Natour, and I should say the guides were great! We went on hike both around the edge of the Caldera (passing by the Roque de los Muchachos) and inside it (on separate days), and both walks were truly wonderful! I wouldn’t recommend the walk around the edge to people with... more

The great Caldera of Taburiente lies in the centre of the north end of La Palma. It is the remains of a volcano whose centre has collapsed, leaving a great circular wall of rock 2400m high at the highest point (Roque de los Muchachos).
