La Orotava is a very beautiful historic town in Tenerife, good starting point for Pico del Teide. Hotel Residencia Silene was a very good accommodation - small and with the soul - I like that kind of hotels/pensions. It is in the heart of La Orotava, cheap (23 euro), perfect staff, old fashioned look and great view from the terase... more

To see the real Tenerfie you have to travel to the north of the Island, with a stop at La Orotava, very old and beautiful a must... more
