The perfectly preserved medieval brick tower of Our Lady's Church with its 122 meters is the highest tower in Bruges and the second tallest brickwork tower in the world. Upon walking into this Church, I'm sure my jaw dropped and I know tears sprang from my eyes. It is a very moving and special sensory and spiritual experience. It is a pretty church but the reasons to come here are for the Michelangelo "Madonna and Child" as well as the museum. Entry to the Church and the statue is free. There is a small fee for the museum.
