This building has a dramatic visual impact when you first see it. The interior is full of little plaques and memorials that tell you much about the history of Orkney. Beautifully maintained the interior is awesome. more

St Magnus cathedral is extraordinary! We honeymooned in Scotland and visited Orkney and the cathedral - fantastic, rich history. We are going back in 2009 to renew our vows in the church! Be sure to know the pipers schedule during the summer and you can sit on the lawn at the cathedral and watch the show. more

Reverend McNaughton is a fantastic speaker. I'm home in Massachusetts now, but wish I could pop in to St Magnus' more often, to hear what this man has to say. Plus it is truly awesome to worship in a place as OLD as this church. Go to services if you can, and if not, do be sure to at least... more
