One of my favorite places in Launceston is City Park which is a little east of the CBD. It used to be the private gardens of the Tasmanian governor's northern residence although I can't remember the dates of this (early 19th century?) It is full of huge established trees, pretty pathways, a conservatorium for indoor plants, and -best of all... more
