When travelling in Guatamala, if you can fit it in on your way to Panajachel, drop in for a couple of hours to Iximche, the small Mayan archeological site. We were there in Jan 2008. The weather was not too hot, and there were lots of trees and shade. It is a small compact site, easily walked in a couple... more
