Singapore Zoo, nice and clean as everywhere in Singapore. We took the MRT (metro), at station exit there was a girl selling a zoo trip ( shuttle+tickets+tram). Lucky we took it: there was a long cue in the tickets office and the ride in the shuttle was just perfect, fast. Many interesting attractions, but sometimes you can not see the... more

Singapore Zoo is simply fantastic! The best Zoo I have ever been to. I visited on boxing day with my husband and our 19 month old daughter. It was nice and clean and it wasn't too busy when we were there. Lots of animals to see and you can get pretty close to some of them. Overall it's a nice... more

I visited the Singapore Zoo this holidays, and I must say the experience is just... Great! It was raining that morning, but when i reached the Zoo, the rain just stopped. Not only i'm lucky, i also get a rainforest experience in the Zoo. It is a pleasure to walk around too, the place is clean, and the staff and... more

Singapore Zoo is the best Zoo I've ever ever ever been to. I loved it when I was a child, and I loved it still when I went back this Summer. The open layout of the zoo is absolutely amazing, and must be great for families, especially the orangutan walk way where they swing right above your heads. The shows... more

Visited the singapore zoo. If you are from Sydney and been to Taronga Zoo, then I recommend to skip the Sinagpore day zoo. Taronga is more or less the same and in my opinion its bigger and better. If you haven't been to Taronga, then Singapore zoo is worth the visit. If you intend to catch public transport, take the... more

The Zoo is an absolute must while in Singapore. I have been to many zoos around the world, and this is the best I have every been to, and the animals all look healthy and happy. All the animals are free to roam around in their area, and aren't caged in like alot of zoos I have been to. Very... more

Well at least this one does... I get the feeling it would probably be quite dissapointing in the day, but at night with the close 'jungle' feel on the dimly lit trails, I don't think there's a zoo that can match it for atmosphere. When a big cat starts to shriek, you really do feel that you're next on the... more

Agree with everyone else about this being a unique and excellent experience. My only addition is that as a solo traveller, I was a bit hesitant to venture too far on my own on the walking trails, as they are VERY dark & quite eery when you're on your own. In saying that, the tram ride was brilliant as were... more

Went here with my family (children aged 12 and 14) to the night zoo. Booked the trip through Tour East. The guide on the bus trip was very good. On arrival at the Zoo at about 7.30pm it was very crowded. We had a meal in the good food court, in the entry area, which had a good choice for... more

Don't go to the Zoo without the Jungle Breakfast. $18 and starts at 09:00. As others have said, great food, elephants, orangutans, snakes and great start to the day. Taxi trip about $15. Took us about 5 hrs and we saw everything. Resting areas are good, even the toilets were nice with an outdoor jungle theme. Didn't use the tram,... more
