Stayed with my family at Beaches Negril from 11/20/2008 through 11/25/2008. We had a fantastic time - great resort! Traveled with my husband and two children 12 and 18 years old. The key to a great vacation at this resort is to manage your expectations - everyone has different criteria for happiness. I'll touch on the highs and lows. The... more

As longtime Travel Agents we have sold BEACHES and have been delighted with the results. Last year (2007), however, it was our turn to experience "multi-generational vacationing." We took our children and four grandchildren (all under three years of age) to BEACHES Negril, Jamaica for a week. WOW! What an amazing and wonderful experience: Not just from a Travel Agent... more

I was actually very disappointed. I feel that we were completely overcharged for what we got. I paid for a two bedroom suite, and got three regular budget motel rooms connected by doors. Yes, the butler service was nice, but unnecessary and the cel phone they gave me to use to contact our butler stopped working after we got caught... more

My family recently returned from a trip to Beaches, Negril in Jamaica. We were impressed with the facilities and the people who worked there, in particular an activities staff member named Natasha (she was the best! A gentleman named O'Neil was great, too!). Although it rained the first few days, there was no limit on the fun and activities. Vollyball... more

Arrival We arrived in Montego Bay from a four hour west jet flight that left from Toronto. Good comfortable flight, we prefer west jet than air transat or some of the other discount airlines. Seems to be way more room. We have never been to Jamaica before so excitement took us through immigration and customs. Make sure everyone has immigration... more

Just back from attending a wedding here. Beautiful beach..may be the nicest i've ever sat on in the Caribbean. I echo a lot of what others have said. The drive from Montego to Negril is pretty awful. Traveling with children in stressful enough, but add to that an hour and a half ride in a small van surrounded by scary... more

My family and I spent 5 days at this resort. There were nine of us ranging in ages from 1 to 79. I have to say that we had an o.k. time overall, but we all feel like we were taken. The resort is run down and in need of repairs. The rooms were small and the bathrooms are all... more

Just returned from Beaches Negril 11/8-11/15. We were booked for our 7th year at Turks but was switched to Negril because of the so called hurricane damage which really was just an excuse so they can finish the Italian village. The people in the Miami office were awful to deal with. They were useless and rude. After reading many a... more

We returned to Beaches - having been one of their first guests almost 11 years ago. ( Sandals before that) In those 11 years we have struggled to find a family resort that lived up to our expectations - those set by Beaches. My wife & I, our son 12 & daughter 9, had an absolute ball ! Beaches ticks... more
