We have stayed at Lighthouse Villas 3 times in the past 7 years; we would, in fact, keep coming back, but we keep discovering new islands, like Virgin Gorda and Anegada. The Lighthouse Villas is probably the best place to stay in Tortola if you don't like big resort hotels (I don't because you could be anywhere in the world). Clean, spacious villas with a new plunge pool overlooking the bay. Great hostess and a convenient 2 minute walk to the beach and with numerous restaurants and evening entertainment. We stayed in Penthouse 3 at the Lighthouse Villas. The views of Cane Carden Bay were mesmerizing; at times it was hard to leave the balcony. We stayed for 11 nights at the Lighthouse Villas in Penthouse #4. The rooms are spacious and the views are incredible. Bring binoculars to look at the boats, islands and the folks on the beach. The road up to the Villas is not as bad as it looks, but those 3 flights of stairs up to our room were tough... more
