Ah, Graycliff. Never mind that lesser cigar place next door. This beautiful, romantic and historical hotel and restaurant offers the ultimate in dining experience and ambiance. I had the pleasure of dining in this fabulous restaurant which has its guests sit in the other era elegant salon while you order your meal. My dinner was fabulous, I mean melt in... more

The best hotel that I have stayed in in the Bahamas (out of about 10) Ideal location for town centre but secluded gardens with large pools ensure a tranquil environment. Service is as fast as you would expect in the Bahamas but the quality and attitude of the staff was first class. Room was very well furnished and clean. Public... more

What can I say?! We happened to find this wonderful place by accident and it was the highlight of our vacation. This hotel and restaurant is among some ruined houses in the middle of the Bahamas capital city, Nassau. But don't give up. Get up the hill and you will find this wonderful jewel, such a paradise. It is an... more

This place has seen better days, much better. The staff is pretty disorganized, although they try to keep the place together. Clearly the place needs a serious infusion of cash and has been neglected for years. The "suite" I had was ok, but filled with ugly furniture and fake plants, the toilet didnt work well, no hot water in the... more

We went to Graycliff based on the repuation of the food, wine cellar, and cigars. All of them were wonderful! If you are a lover of wine, ask for a tour of the wine cellar. Amazing! The owners are such characters - stop to chat with them when you are there. They are very hands-on, and have lived there for... more

I chose Graycliff as the locale for my wedding & honeymoon, my (now:) husband and I were looking for something special: intimate, romantic and just for us - a place where we could make our commitment to each other official - and - a place where we could also truly relax and get away from it all after the wedding... more

Before I had stayed at the Graycliff I had heard really mixed reviews. After two nights there I understand why. The colonial house and gardens are charming and I can understand why some visitors may be won over by this but the Graycliff is also one of the worst hotels I have ever visited. The service is shocking – we... more

4 day getaway for my girlfriend and I, looking for something unique and away from the Cancun style mega resorts. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had picked a great place. The staff throughout our stay was nothing short of perfect. Every member was helpful and always with a smile. They made our stay extremely enjoyable. Arrived early... more

When we arrived at the hotel, we immediately saw peeling paintwork, dirty and frayed carpets in the hallway, and untidy gardens. Our room was attractively decorated, but the layout did not utilise the space at all well - to watch television, you had to lie on the bed, there was nowhere you could sit and read in comfort with adequate... more

Loved the Graycliff!! We had a very small wedding there and were so happy. The staff was polite and ever so helpful. It is not located directly on the beach but in very close walking distance (about 0.2 miles). The location is not what you would expect, in not too great of an area but the hotel itself is beautiful.... more
