I recently got back from a long weekend at the Atlantis with my boyfriend. We booked the trip back in May without doing much research. About two weeks before we left we started reading all of the reviews about the hotel and were nervous about how the trip would turn out because there were so many horrible reviews. We were... more

My three girlfriends and I stayed at Atlantis for 10 days and had a wonderful time! We were located in the older portion of the hotel, but it was still very nice. The only downside to it was you had to walk quite a bit to reach the restaurants and main towers/Casino, but there are few places (besides the main... more

Before I booked a stay at Atlantis, I read dozens of reviews on TripAdvisor. I was somewhat confused – both good and bad reviews. Atlantis has also been running a lot of TV advertising promoting the hotel, so perhaps I got “influenced” by the marketing. My wife and I where from July 2 to July 5, 2008. We decided to... more

In July of 2008, I took my daughter on a trip to the Atlantis resort. She is a dancer and the entire studio went for a dance intensive to be held in the ballroom. We were very excited and had saved up what I thought to be an amount of money sufficient to get through the week. I knew that... more

Just returned from a planned 5 night stay at Atlantis/Beach Towers w/ family [2 kids 10/12 yrs]. Good time overall, most of the comments posted here helped, hence this review. As noted the prices for food and just about anything else are ATROCIOUS, far and away above any other island I've every traveled to. A small bottle of suntan spray... more

Our family visited Atlantis in 2001 in off season and again in August 2008....with two extra children. First time we stayed in the Royal Towers...this time the Beach Tower because we had more kids and less money. We truly enjoyed our trip just as much. Yes, the Beach Tower is the cheapest of the hotels there and the farthest away,... more

My family is used to vacationing at Disney World, which we absolutely love. My wife and I honeymooned at the Sandals Bahamas in 1999, which had fabulous service. This trip, from a service standpoint, was off-the-charts horrendous. Honestly, the best service my wife and I had was on the cab ride to and from the airport. The general feeling you... more

We just returned from 4 nights at the Beach Tower. Let me start by saying we had a great time. Yes, we paid about $400 per night. However, I did not look at it like I was paying $400 per night for a hotel room. Instead, I viewed it as $400 per night for staying at a resort. Atlantis is... more
