Fanastic resort, really no complaints. My wife and I travel to top resorts yearly and this is a place we want to re-visit and soon. The staff are very accomodating and friendly. We highly recommnend the resort. more

After reading glowing review after glowing review, you might think this place is too good to be true, but let me assure you, it is everything you would ever want and more! The accomodations are pristine and filled with all amenities, the location is picture-postcard beautiful, and the best part is that you have all of this to yourself! It's... more

We stayed for four nights. The rooms are absolutely wonderful - possibly the nicest I have stayed at in over 20 trips to the Bahamas out islands. The beach is beautiful, although there are several properties along it now so don't expect complete isolation. You certainly don't feel crowded, however. The staff is very polite and service oriented, but for... more

The best accomodations my wife and I ever stayed in...bar none! No expense was spared in these villas...from the appliances to the artwork, to the crystal glassware; it was truly indescribable. And the view...priceless. Let me put it another way; we stayed in a one bedroom villa that we heard sold for nearly $1M...talk about great value! The customer service... more

Our 6-person family had 2 days to find a replacement vacation destination after Hurricane Omar wiped out the 4 Seasons in Nevis - and we hit a grand slam with Grand Isle. The 6-person ocean-front Villa was reasonably priced ($900/night), it had a breathtaking view of aptly named Emerald Bay, and it was beautifully decorated. After the only glitch of... more

Four of us - in our 40s - just got back from a wonderful 5 day vacation at Grand Isle...we would recommend it to anyone seeking attention to detail, beautifully appointed villas, and out-island fun. The surprise: we booked on line and had great communication via phone and email from the concierge staff prior to our arrival. When we got... more

We were going to book a room at the Four Seasons, but after reading such wonderful reviews about the Grand Isle, we decided to call them first. The lady that answered the phone could not have been nicer or more helpful. We told her what we were looking for, explained our budget and and she offered us a 2000 square... more

It was perfect even when it wasn't perfect. First I will start with the complimentary shuttle service they provided to and from the airport, the bottle of wine for our honeymoon, and the personal tour of the villa from Pamela. When I first saw the views from our oceanview one bedroom (actually 2), I was mesmorized. The villa itself was... more

Grand Isle is absolutely top notch. We did have one issue but I will get to that later. (see below) Our villa was oceanfront, overlooking two golf greens. The property here is oceanfront, but not beachfront. The beach, and access is located behind the reception/pool area. Since the villas are built on the hillside the view of the beach from... more

We stayed at the Grand Isle Resort from June 19 to June 27 and it was the best trip we have ever taken. Great Exuma is beautiful - it's still relatively untouched and undiscovered, a real paradise. The resort was amazing. Everything from the grounds to the villas to the pool area and restaurant was perfect. We stayed in a... more
