Stayed here for 4 nights. Very welcoming on arrival. The room they had allocated was not ready but a different one was. This was adequate, clean though smallish. Stayed here with a group of 6 in February for a long weekend. Great hotel right in the heart of Chamonix. There's a bus stop immediately outside which will take you to all of the ski areas. All of the town's shops, bars and restaurants seemed to be either on your doorstep or within an easy walk of the hotel... more

Just visited the Alpina for a 5 night stay organised last min via the alpina .com web site. reasonable value large clean room witha view of mont blanc helpfull frendly staff. great position. highy recomended. not over keen on the resort of chamonix though ...to much off piste foot work in the big old boots, sky high prices for beer. more

Excellent location - close to town centre, next to good underground car park, opposite a bus stop (all essential, as you'll know if you know Chamonix). Rooms are small and bathrooms very small, but beds are comfortable, and there's plenty of hot water.
