We were told the hotel was 2 star quality, and so we weren't expecting luxuries, and so weren't dissapointed with basic facilities. Castillo de sol, are basic but clean and well located apartments in puerto rico. we have stayed there 4 times, and for the price they are fine. nice pool, though we visited amadores beach everyday, much nicer than puerto rico beach,cost 3 euros in taxi or 20 minute walk along promeade, white sandy beach with lovley bars and resturants, lovely... more

Worst accommodation which my husband and I have ever stayed in. There were 8 adults in total staying as it was our friends 40th birthday - if it wasn't for them I would have never stayed in this ---- hole ! Just returned from a weeks stay in these apartments, 17 - 24 March 2007. Weather was fab, 28c most days. Accommodation is basic, 2 star rating but apartments are relatively clean.
