We thought we'd selected an exclusive reputable hotel (pretentiously quoted 5 stars) when booking at the "La Réserve" in Knokke-Heist for New Year (30/12/06-01/01/07). Disappointment fell when the door of room 341 was opened and it was immediately obvious that the heating had been turned off. A very cool welcome indeed! It took neigh on an hour for the place... more
