Rydges Plaza is another of the low maintenance Rydges chain that helps give Cairns a reputation for poor value for money. A bit apprehensive due to some of the reviews. I was very pleasantly surprised, the room was great, staff friendly and a great location. No problems what so ever. Ask for the refurbished rooms. more

This hotel is supposedly 4.5 star, but we found it to be unhygenic. I would rate Rydges Plaza Cairns about 2 star.
