MY family and i stayed here in 2007, last year. It was GREAT!!!! I absolutely loved it. its nice and quiet, and has a spa bath in the bathroom which looks over the river. close to cavill ave, only takes 5 mins. also close to restaurants and other shops!!!! when in doubt, book here!!! it was lovely!!!!!!! you wont be... more

We decided to stay at the Emerald as we wanted to stay somewhere different and we were pleasantly surprised. The Emerald whilst it is not right in the middle of Surfers, it is an easy walk to the centre of Surfers Paradise. One thing that made our stay enjoyable were the staff. We have just returned from a 5 day / 4 night stay at The Emerald. We were attracted to this resort as it offered apartment style accomodation with kitchen, laundry and a second beroom for the children.
