Stayed at this hotel in July and this was our second visit. It has been renamed Dolphin Heads Resort and it is not connected with any chain. The location is second to none and is the reason we returned. The staff were fine. However the restaurant was only operating with a snack menu and it was your basic Central Queensland... more

This place was the best! My husband and I spent 1 night there prior to going to Brampton Island (a total waste of $$ going there). We loved the staff, the pool, and the restaurant was one of the best meals we have ever had. We were seriously impressed and next time we go to Mackay we will stay there... more
