Very nice, clean and spacious cottages. Good beds, aircondition, helpful staff, free bus to the city several times a day (or a beatiful walk on the water side), supermarket nearby. Would stay there again and would highly recommend to anyone. Best hostel I've ever seen. more

We decided to stay in Bush Village because all hotels in Airlie Beach were fully booked and the reviews in Tripadvisor were good. Luckily we asked to see the "deluxe studio" before paying for it. First of all, this place is really far from the Airlie Beach main beach, where all the restaurants etc. are. The hostel is in the... more

We had been in Aus for 2 of our 4 week stay and can honestly say that our holiday started in Airlie Beach. We loved Bush Village so much we wanted to stay. Although a short drive out of Airlie (let's face it. The place is tiny anyway!) there was a free shuttle service that came in very useful. Our... more

We stayed at this backpackers before and after a sailing trip and thought it was the best choice for us. This place is out of town which isn't ideal, but the offer a bus service into town so as long as you don't miss the bus its not a problem! But if your after the party scene then it might... more

I have been staying with Bush Village since 2000 and it is a very good backpacker hotel. Do not go there expecting a party hostel or a 5-star hotel, but as a quiet, relaxed, clean and friendly hostel, it is great. I really feel I can relax at Bush Village. more

Bush Village was a nice place to stay. The guys that worked there were totally friendly. There was some construction going on at the pool/spa and it started at 7am on Saturday, which was awful considering we went to bed at 3am. So request a room away from the pool until the construction is finished. more

Nice and clean, the staff are excellent. A little out of town but very close to the only decent shopping centre in Airlie. They did give good advice on sailing trips and we enjoyed our stay here. It is good value for money in the double cabins with shared facilites and much better than the caravan park style accommodation we... more

Loved every minute of my stay at Bush Village! Us two lads stayed for about 8 nights in Jan 07, from the moment we phoned ahead, the staff were helpful, all of them would answer any queries & help us, & we felt part of the family! Its a family run hostel, owned by Ken (top bloke), & managed by... more

Spent 3 nights at the Bush Village in September 2006 with my Mum, Dad & Sister as part of a world trip. Booked the accommodation directly with the owners who always replied promptly to emails. Got the courtesy bus from the bus station to the Bush Village which is a bit out of Airlie Beach (about 30minute walk along the... more
