My wife and I stayed here for two nights in December. We booked this on Priceline, we bid $55.00 and would up paying about $72. per night with taxes. First the positives. -The room was very large and clean. -It had a full kitchen that had a microwave, a two burner electric stovetop and a full size refrigerator. The kitchen... more

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend. The breakfast room is extremely crowded with scarcely room to move between the tables. My biggest problem was the charging for the Nintendo. We didn't even realize that we were being charged for my 7 year old playing it, and then ended up paying around $100 in extra charges. It turned out that... more

Spent two nights here between business meetings. Single suite was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was included and had ample variety - from bacon and eggs to pancakes to granola to bagels, etc. Hotel offers free internet - much appreciated! Staff (from Front Desk personnel to breakfast staff to housekeeping staff) were always friendly. Hotel is a little more than... more

My first trip to Washington as a tourist was made even more wonderful because of the Residence Inn on Vermont Ave. First of all we arrived before noon and were allowed to check in early. Next, as with all Residence Inns, you get the full breakfast bar every morning, plus the Washington Post and USA Today newspapers in the 2nd... more

I stayed at this hotel for four weeks during a business trip. Positives: The staff, including front desk, cleaning personnel, and valet attendants were very friendly and helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations, and other needs. There is a CVS right next door with some frozen/refrigerated foods, canned/bottled beverages, and boxed (cereals, etc.) foods available. It was very convenient. Also, there... more

Stayed for two nights in September, 2008 for business. Very nice, well maintained property. Located within a couple blocks of the McPherson metro stop. Has a 24 hour CVS right next door. The room I had was good size with a kitchenette with full size refrigerator. Rooms were updated. Was very quiet. Has a small gym and great hot/cold breakfast... more

I was looking mostly for a relaxing room near the center of Washington at a good rate. I got just that. I also appreciated the very short walk to Dupont Circle and local attractions. Their is a CVS on site for any last minute needs as well. more

Booked a 3 night stay over the July 4th weekend. Found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. Area questions were answered quickly and accurately. Had a special rate offer w/ gas cards for each night. The gas cards were the only glitch - hotel only had enough to provide me 1 of the 3 I was entitled too.... more

My husband and I stayed at the Residence Inn/Vermont St. in November of 2007. This was our first time in D.C and we were there to do all the touristy stuff...LOL. Anyway, I picked the Residence Inn for 2 reasons....1. We usually try to stay at a Marriott brand hotel and 2. The price was really good...$119.00 a night. First... more

We stayed 5 nights at the Residence Inn and used it as a base to explore DC and make a side trip to Monticello. It was perfect for a long stay since there was room to spread out and a full kitchen (including dishwasher). We requested a room on an upper floor and were on the 8th floor facing another... more
