A beautifully kept and updated home of classic proportions in NW Washington, just a 15 minute drive from the Federal Mall, this B&B is owned by Sandy, a most gracious and personable lady who showers you with her kindness and hospitality. more

When you want to feel like escaping the city without having to cross the Bay Bridge, this is the place to go. The Intown Uptown is by far the most pleasing B&B in the city. Our goal is to spend the night in each of the Inn's 8 rooms. We've been in 3 so far, Wysteria, Hollyhock, and Soho, and... more

We had an enjoyable stay. Stayed in the Hollywood Room. The service was great. Breakfast was to die for!! Sandy took care of all our needs. The location was a little further than we thought it was. The buses run every 10 minutes and the Metro is about 10 blocks or about a 30 minute ride on the bus.Metro takes you everywhere... more

Every night, whenever I was tired after a day full of sightseeing in D.C., I would say to myself: "I'm going home"...and then it hit me, for this was the first time I ever called a hotel "home." Indeed, they treat you like family, from the home-cooked breakfasts to the cozy rooms and the wonderful service, and even the stories... more

The Intown Uptown Inn is warm, friendly and inviting. It's the best of B & B's - comfortable, inviting, and friendly. The hostess was very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. Little touches like fresh cookies, ice water and wine set out for guests in the evening were delightful. We rented a car and were glad to have free... more

My husband and I stayed three nights in the Corleone room. The room had great furnishings and was very comfortable. The bathroom was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and every night there was wine and fresh cookies set out for the evening hours. My husband and I enjoyed our wine outside on the back porch watching a beautiful sunset.... more

This was a fabulous bed and breakfast to stay in - very relaxing. A great retreat after being in the city all day. We used the metro system to get around town and it worked very well. Breakfast was fantastic every morning and the wine and snacks in the evening was good. We stayed in the Wysteria room, which has... more

Breakfast was extremely nice and impossible to top and and varied each day. Downsides for us were that the inn is a 30 minute public bus ride from the center of Washington (which... more

We stayed at the Intown Uptown Inn last week for three nights and it was a very nice place. The house is beautiful en so are the rooms. We stayed in the Hollyhock room, which was beautiful. We had to share a bathroom, but that was not a problem for us. A laptop with internet and a printer was available... more
