I'm a Gold Elite member who has spent 60+ nights at Marriott for the past 7 years, and I feel the need to warn people about this place. The laissez faire attitude of the staff extends from the parking assistants to the check-in to the restaurant/bar. I don't believe I have ever seen such lazy employees who could care less... more

I honestly cannot believe I paid almost $500 a night for this hotel. My wife and I, who were in town on business, had the same experience we would have had at a $200 hotel. The concierge was absolutely useless - they were no help in getting us tickets to Cirque du Soleil, and the deskman even handed me the... more

Location is conveniently near convention center, museum of women in arts, about 10 blocks from the white house. Hotel lobby has plush comfy chairs, a starbucks, a deli, a good restaurant and other offerings. Service is cordial if a bit on the unpolished side. Had a very large corner room with a very comfortable king bed and a large flat... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights and truly enjoyed the area. It was within walking distance of everything. Since I had booked through Orbitz, I did call ahead to the hotel a week before we were scheduled to arrive to request a king-size bed. The person that answered the phone was very rigid when saying... more

The Ren Wash DC is a hotel that caters to the business traveler, the convention goer, and anyone else who is staying in DC and expensing the trip. The hotel is comfortable, predictable and Posh Standard in appearance. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had some of the little extras you expect when a night's stay is well over $250.00.... more

I used Marriott points for a one night stay. Given 6th floor tower room so access to the club was included. This was worth it for the breakfast and coffee. Lobby was pleasant. Bedding was nice but the room decor and the furniture worn looking. Terrible glare lighting in the bathroom and noticed some holes in the wall. I wonder... more

I chose this hotel because it was hosting the conference I was attending. they gave us (attendees) a VERY good rate - below the Courtyard rate in Alexandria!. Very comfortable rooms. If you want to eat out there are plenty of restaurants 2 bloks away in Chinatown. Nearest metro stop is also two blocks away. Another review said there wasn't... more

Easy walk across the street to the Convention Center. Starbucks in lobby. Breakfast buffet was great in the mornings. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, nicely decorated, flat screen tv. Some front desk clerks had attitude...but Concierge & bell staff was wonderful. No pool, and no business center closest is at a Fed-Ex down the street, not in the... more

I was very impressed with the hotel. It's very classy with a great location. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Mall and many of the attractions in DC. The room was very comfortable, great flat screen tv, and the bed was so comfy. The room had an iron/ironing board, coffee/tea maker, hairdryer but no safe. They have bottled... more

This hotel is beautiful upon entrance into the spacious lobby.... The location is excellent... within walking distance of Chinatown, Verizon Center, and nightlife. We reserved a king room, which had a beautiful, comfortable bed. We both agreed that the bed was THE most comfortable we've slept in within the past few years of travelling.... if ever. My bf and I... more
