Having been unavoidedly delayed in Colombo we needed to find a hotel near the airport. Colombo itself is a good 70 minutes drive away. The Taj Airport Garden Hotel was our choice. I stayed here on 23/06/07 for one night. It is not the best hotel but not hopeless. The bathrooms were not dirty but certainly not up to scratch in terms of bad tiling etc The hotel is a budget hotel - i would say that it is probably slightly worse than your average travel inn more
