The Charleston is highly over-rated and over-priced, far better is the Sofitel next door or the Bogota Plaza not far away. The place seems to be managed by well-meaning but underachieving 20-year-olds. The rooms do not match the pictures on the hotel's web page, setting-up guests for a major disappointment upon arrival. The Hotel in itself is not bad and location is very good. The thing is that considering that it is "one of Bogota´s best", my AMEX was cloned there and I was charged around $40,000USD. I would not go back there even if it was free! more
