I had booked a superior room. At the time of check-in, I was told that my reservation has been upgraded to Delux Room. Later I figured out that one has to be real macho in order to the door of the room (My mom and wife simply refused to open the door as it was very heavy). Even after we... more

After reading some negative reviews of Furama City Centre, we were initially apprehensive about booking a room in this hotel. However, with the exorbitant rates Singapore hotels are charging since my last visit in 2006, this hotel's rates on wotif.com were within our budget. For the same price, I stayed at Swissotel the Stamford in 2006. This time round, we... more

We booked our 2 night stopover here on our way to Australia. 5 of us arrived at 7am on a Monday morning but were checked into a room straight away and were given the next available room within half an hour. The location was fantastic, the rooms were very nice and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended. more

I've stayed at many 4-5 star hotels in asia and have never come across a hotel that so thoroughly tries to nickel and dime you, $275/night and the room was ageing badly, stains around the tub, empty mini bar, no room service available at 10:30 at night, arrogant unhelpful staff, no breakfast included, and the kicker that got me, when... more

We stayed at Furama City Centre for 3 nights on the way back from Australia to the UK. I chose it primarily for the location and previous good reviews. Would have stayed at Mandarin Oriental as my husband stayed there in Feb and loved it but unfortunately it was fully booked for a conference this time round. Considered other hotels... more

The hotel is not the newest but when you enter the lobby it is clean and pleasant, the staff are very helpful and check in went without a hitch. They very kindly upgraded us to one of the executive rooms on the top floor which was a great surprise and a good start to our holiday. Beakfast was well run... more

I stayed one night and enjoyed it although I spent most of my time sightseeing rather than in the room. I booked through Travelocity after reading through the reviews on Tripadvisor. The rate ($124.49 total including taxes and fees) is very fair based on my experience. I was given a room on the 4th floor. Reading other posts, apparently the... more

Very happy with our stay at Furma City Centre. This was a long weekend family break booked through Expedia for $339USD for 2 adults and a child (4yo) including breakfast for 3 nights. The room was brand new, smelled of paint and could see some fresh drops on the carpet. I think we were the first guests in this fourth... more

I have to honestly say that my experience in this hotel was above my expectations. We stayed there for 4 nights at a very reasonable price. Although the hotel is not fancy, some of its decor is nice, especially in the lobby. Rooms are OK, only a little small, but above all, clean. Bathrooms are a little old, but they... more
