The Hotel had Great views to the Panama Canal and a good Restaurant (Fridays) on site but the Desk staff were not very helpful and the room could have been cleaner. The rooms in the this hotel are great, we loved the view of the canal and the pool is very nice. But the location is quite isolated - to get into the city you have to take a cab, too far to walk.. We have also (in 6 months of travelling South America) never come across such rude front desk... more

Good position right on the entrance to the Panama Canal and worth paying a little extra for a Canal view room but beware that some have restricted view because of a large tree in the grounds.
