Palacio de Dona Leonor is a wonderful, boutique hotel centrally located in one of the prettiest cities in Central America. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, and the staff is helpful and very pleasant. The location is ideal; just 50 steps from Plaza Mayor. But, we hear no noise even though so close to the center of town. more

We were in Antigua in summer 2006. We booked a room in Posada del Hermano Pedro. That was a big disappointment, so we went out looking for another place to stay. On the other side of the block, close to the cathedral, we found El Palacio de Dona Leonor. They offered rooms already, although the hotel wasn't completely furnished yet.... more
