I have been staying at Casa Marie periodically since 2003. I do fieldwork in Guatemala, and always begin and end my time in that country with a stay at Casa Marie. The house is gorgeous, with an extraordinary garden, and artwork, textiles, and artifacts scattered throughout the building that will keep you distracted for hours.
