Too much emphasis on lavish food selection but then they charge you for coffee on a prepaid dinner !!! Daily INTERNET connection 17$...... In the new section cleanliness below average. Exercise room equipment old and falling apart. We paid 225$ a night including breakfast and dinner and feel robbed. more

I think because there are not many other choices for accommodations in Tzfat, the Ruth Rimonim gets away with over charging. We were surprised to see how small our room was. For the price we paid for the room, around $280/night, we also weren't thrilled that we had no view. We'd recommend making it a point to get a room... more

We stayed at Ruth Rimonim 1 day in July 2007. Very well located. Friendly staff but the Hotel and rooms look pretty used and old. We asked and been charged for a 4 persons suite and they gave us a regular room and the 4th bed was a very noisy and uncomfortable folding bed. Hotel lacks charm and personality in... more

Had a wonderful romantic vacation at the Ruth Rimonim Hotel . This Hotel captures the charm of Safed. The rooms are comfortable and clean and have the atmosphere of the area. Wonderful to sit by the pool and enjoy the breeze, even on the warmest of days. From the Hotel we could walkinto the Artist Colony and see the galleries... more

We had a fantastic experience at the Ruth Rimonim Inn. Our room was spacious with a lovely shared balcony. The building was fascinating with so many out of the way gardens and quiet places. THe food was excellent and the service was, in general, first rate although a bit distant a times. I look forward to going back again to... more

The parking lot is difficult to navigate, the staff is not very well trained, and there is a general level of apathy throughout the hotel. Wireless internet connection was so poor that, even sitting directly under the modem in the lobby, I could not maintain a reliable connection. It is an older hotel that has not been renovated recently, in... more

For the first time since 1999, I stayed again at the Rimonim Inn in Tsfat during my recent visit. The hotel remains one of the most unique places to stay in the world. How many times will you be able to say you stayed in a 300-year-old Turkish khan? I find its isolation and quirkiness part of its charm, unlike... more

The Ruth Rimonim is in a gorgeous setting and the old buildings are beautiful and historic. The views from the hotel are breathtaking. However, the staff is ineffectual, uninterested in guest's needs and just generally unpleasant to deal with. The air conditioning in our room didn't work and repeated calls to get it fixed brought several repairmen but no improvement... more

We stayed just one night on our trip through Galilee in May of 2006. I had heard so much about Tsfat and the hotel that I simply insisted that we take a day from Tiberias to check it out. I arrived with high hopes expecting to find something "romantic" and "magical". What??? The hotel was so hard to find that... more

My husband and spent a couple of nights at this hotel in May, 2006. From what we had read, we expected a marvelous experience. No so! The staff was surly and not at all helpful, the food was AWFUL, and the hotel itself was dingy. The views were the only redeeming factor. My advice - stay anywhere else! more
