Our group of 40 stayed 3 nights at this hotel and fell in love with it. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean, and the food is delicious. Our one and only complaint is the shower door; a very small door that lets water escape. A big bonus - fantastic sunrises over the Sea of Galilee from the hotel grounds... more

We had a very nice antique room with all the amenities. Lovely grounds and a good location. The only downside was the front desk which was pleasant but rather inefficient : one morning they forgot our wake up call, they were supposed to make a dinner reservation but never did, among other things. more

When we arrived at the Scot's Hotel on Friday night, the front desk clerk was rather aloof and unfriendly. The hotel was fully booked and parking was difficult. The lobby is very barren and not at all like other properties of similar cost. I found our room to be very spartan but clean. The hotel seemed to have raised the... more

We booked this hotel via www.centraldereservas.com, price was 180 Euro/night incl. breakfast. We arrived at Shabbat morning (Saturday) and it was very hard to find a parking lot at the grounds, because there were a lot of cars. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Our room was in the fifth floor of the new building with no view at the... more

Such a beautiful hotel deserves better administration. Also the dinner buffet was 195 shekels each person (over 60 dollars each), pretty pricey since we had our three kids with us. Our room air conditioner didn't work, and wasn't fixed until our second night, meaning I lost one nights sleep. I wouldn't go back. more

The hotel is nice. Fairly large rooms, gorgeous grounds, attentive staff. Really, the only problem I had was with dinner. By the hotel's website, I was led to believe they had a great kitchen and was expecting a great meal at dinner. Had I known it was going to be a buffet, I wouldn't have bothered. A buffet? For $50... more

I recently spent a long week-end at the Scots, and this was one of my best hotel stays in Israel so far. The hotel consists of a few Ottoman renovated buildings and a new wing. The room was very large and comfortable, with a good flat-screen TV and a CD player. The bathroom was also large and had natural light... more

The Scots Hotel has beautiful grounds and was acceptable inside (we only had a standard room) but the area surrounding Tiberias would have been an ideal opportunity to sample a kibbutz. I took the safe route and booked the Scots Hotel instead and while the grounds are exquisite and the view overlooking the Sea of Galilee is magnificent, the standard... more

This is a nice hotel overlooking the Sea of Galilee. I booked one of the antique rooms and paid a premium for it - I was a little bit disappointed - for the price, I think they could have done a lot more with the room which had a lot of potential to be really amazing. That said, the room... more

We stayed here for two nights and what a delight they were. The hotel is a boutique hotel and hence you get the warm feeling. The rooms were big, clean and nice. The restaurant was gorgeous with excellant meals. It's not in the city centre like the other huge hotels but I think thats better. Anyway the city centre is... more
