The Galle Fort Hotel has been designed to appear beautiful. All the fixtures and fittings are exquisite and on the face of it it is a very attractive hotel. However, it just was not a very nice place to stay. The common space is very small and does not allow for any privacy. The pool is decorative rather than functional.... more
