First of all, please let me warn you about Priceline.com! DO NOT BOOK ANY HOTEL WITHOUT NAMING YOUR OWN PRICE! The prices listed on Priceline.com tend to be overpriced compared to the hotel's own rates. I paid $30 more for the room than I should have since I believed that Priceline rates would be lower than the hotel's. Ok, now... more

The hotel is aged and needs updating. The room we received was old and needs updating. The refrigerator froze our salad when we used it to store our lunch for the next day. As we walked down the hallway, we noticed that some rooms had been upgraded with marble flooring and bathroom but the room we received was very old... more

Below is a copy of my feedback for this hotel. ------------ This hotel is apparently run by Merced Hospitality Inc. , but it gives the entire Ramada name a black eye. Where to start? First off, under "hotel overview" it states "Each room features color satellite television with free HBO, direct dial touch tone telephones, in room coffeemakers, and refrigerators".... more

I probably would have rated this hotel a 3 but the bed was so great that I upped my rating to a 4. The mattress had a pillow top. It was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on, with the exception of the “heavenly bed” at a Weston Hotel, a much more upscale property. The top of... more

My husband, two small children and I spent one night at the Ramada Inn and found it clean, comfortable and a pleasant place to spend a quick night. There was a crib waiting for us in the room as requested, although we were surprised to be charged a fee for it! The room had two queen beds that seemed new... more

I booked this room to take my daughter to see her grandparents. After booking it I seen reviews on how bad it was from others. So I call the hotel and informed them of my past vistits to other hotels in the area and that I would not put up with staying in a ran down hotel and if it... more

I traveled through Merced and needed a place to stay. I am familiar with Ramada Inn so I inquired about a room. $75 is not unreasonable, so I booked the room. What a dump. Dark rooms, smokey hallways, luke warm water, noisy A/C unit, moldy breakfast, etc... Never again will I stay at the Ramada Inn in Merced. more

Not terrible, but not the greatest either. On the plus side, the hotel was much quieter than most in Merced. It's not directly on Highway 99, so you miss most of the freeway noise. On the other hand, the train tracks are close by, but no trains came through at night during our stay. The decor and upkeep in the... more

I am a frequent business traveler and can tolerate some mid range hotels. This was horrible. The rooms were dark, dank, and dirty. You could not use the bathroom sink without your legs touching the toilet. I had to purposely avoid looking at anything to closely...like caulking around the counters, it was nasty. No information on how to use the... more
