We got the king suite w/sofa bed. The room was equipped with a full sized frige, microwave, & two burner electric range. We were on the 7th floor. The hotel was pretty quiet. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet in the morning. There is a streecar stop right at the hotel and if you're going to venture out in downtown... more

Spent two nights here in October. Very nice room. Had a good deal on a suite. It was almost like a small apartment with a full kitchen, including all the dishes you would need. Pool and spa area was spacious and super clean. Gym was very modern and up to date. The breakfast served in the morning is complete with... more

My girlfriend and I came down to spend a long weekend in Portland from the 22nd of August to the 24th. There was a huge evangelical fair of some sort in town that weekend, so ALL hotels and B&Bs were booked up. So went with this one. And I am so glad I did. Checking-in was hassle free, and took... more

We thought this hotel would be more in the heart of downtown. It is on the edge and you have to walk or take the free street car (stops across the street) to really get to the heart of downtown. Has some restaurants nearby and is on the river. It is below the freeway but the hotel is well insulated... more

My cousin was to make his first trip to the West Coast from the midwest this past May, and he wanted to stay up in Portland. Decent Hotels at a reasonable price can be hard to find in the downtown Portland area (A dumpy Holidays Inn can run 100 bucks a night). So we did some research and found this... more

I am most surprised that more people have not pointed out that this hotel is right next to an enormous two-section bridge carrying the Interstate 5 across the river. And when I say right next to, I mean right next to. I was woken up at 4 am every morning by the sound of traffic zooming by and when I... more

When I was driving up to the residence inn, I didn't think the hotel looked that great, but when I got to my family's room, I began to rethink. I soon found out that every room was a suite. ours, just like every room was huge, with a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and 1 king-size bed and a couch bed. Every day... more

This hotel is right beside the 5 freeway. It looks as if the freeway bridge comes within about 20 ft of the hotel. There is a bus stop close to the hotel that will take you into town in about 15 minutes free. The breakfasts were not good. This would be a good hotel for business but not tourists. The... more

Pros: service, rooms, breakfast. Cons: location, expensive parking I pricelined this room for about $60. I am not picky, just needed somewhere to crash in PDX that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I was not overjoyed when I saw the location - it's located in a newly developed part of Portland where everything seems all JambaJuice/Borders/Starbuck-y. Know what... more

We stayed one night at this hotel. (We had stayed at the Hotel Vintage Plaza earlier in the week.) We booked the room through travelportland.com and received a package that was good for the date we stayed as Portland was pretty much fully booked. We paid $209 with free parking. Normally we book directly with the hotel. When we tried... more
