I have been staying at this hotel for business trips for over a year, and also stay at other Shilo hotels in WA and OR. The staff has always been helpful, professional. In the last few weeks they have been upgrading rooms with new looks. Yes this is one of the older hotels in the chain, and there is no... more

We checked in under the coupon we clipped from a booklet picked up at McDonald. For that price, it was okay but the place really needed a face lift (at least the ground floor that we stayed in). Check in was slow. it offered typical “free” breakfast but at least they have fruits. However, there were only a couple of... more

This hotel is way overpriced even at the coupon rate we used. Mold everywhere, hallways looked like they were never cleaned and are very dark. Front desk clerk was rude when we checked in at 9pm(Melody I believe her name was) and she wasnt even in uniform. Listened to cars on the freeway all night. Breakfast was a joke. more

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the past 12 years. Same room. The very helpful GM recently had many of the rooms remodeled and refurnished. Very tastefully and much appreciated. The whole staff works together as a great team. It's comforting to know that when you are away from your home, you have a home away from... more

The Shilo Inn wasn't the best hotel. We came to Springfield for our Special Olymipcs State Basketball Tournament for three days and two nights. When we entered the room, the room wasn't the best either. The TV was okay and the beds were comfortable, but the pillows weren't the the fluffiest. There were some problems: We're suppose to have four... more

We had a group of 15 people so we reserved 5 suites. They were very roomy and comfortable. The location is great because of the closeness to the mall and numerous restaurants. The building doesn't look fabulous on the inside or outside, but I was very impressed with everything else about the place. We will stay there every time we... more

We stayed at the Eugene Shilo Inn December 8th . The hallways were dimmly lit. And the rooms have appliances that are 1980 or before. The room above us was quite noisy. The pool was closed because it was to cold. They had a buisness center that had a computer and a copier. It was all one room which was... more

This place is a dump! I stayed one night as all the rooms in Eugene/Springfield sold out because of football game. They still use metal keys a very unsafe practice. There cannot be a blub over 40 watts in the room, I could not read anything. The room I had (174) had a TV at a right angle to the... more

The Shilo is one of the few choices in the Eugene/Springfield area between the expensive full service hotels and the college town "hot sheet" motels. The hotel is older but the rooms are clean and fresh, the bathroom was pretty big and newly renovated and the bathtub is huge. The room's age is also evidenced by the lack of outlet... more

My husband and I stay a night or two in the Eugene area about five times a year. We used to stay at the Best Western Grand Manor, but the price kept going up, the service kept going down, and the towels kept getting thinner and thinner. This time we tried the Shiloh Inn. Yes, this is definitely an older... more
