The food is TERRIBLE!!! I mean, BAD. The hotel is nice and has a great location. Unfortunately, parking is a real problem. I literally could not find one single space. I went to order room service and it was shockingly bad. I will never eat there again and I am hestitant to stay there again. more

We stayed this weekend in the Marriott in Spartanburg and from check-in to check out we were treated fantastic. We got a huge room on the 9th floor, with the usual Marriott furniture, the huge outside pool/Jacuzzy is wonderful as well as the well equiped gym wit Steam Rooms and Saunas in the locker rooms. Wonderful front desk guy upgraded us to a room that had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I skipped the pool just so I could go back and nap. Huge bathroom, great complimentary Bath and Body Works toiletries, great restaurant. Overall an excellent place to stay! more

Stayed here for a wedding in June, 2008. We had to wait 10 extra minutes for the maids to finish our room. The manager then gave us 2 vouchers for free breakfast and lunch at their in-house restaurant. Very nice! The pool was clean and relaxing. It is ridiculous that this hotel charges a fee for internet services for a traveling team who must do their homework on the road. A large, full-service hotel and conference center in downtown Spartanburg that offers competitive room rates but other necessities such as internet and breakfast costs extra.
