We just spent the past weekend at the Lazy Bear Inn. We went up without already having a reservation...after checking out several others motels on the other side of the road all were to pricey or too nasty....we tried the Lazy Bear Inn. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice and the room rate was very... more

Called many hotels the morning of travel--all were booked! Finally got in touch with Lazy Bear Inn--they had two rooms which were side by side--just what I needed. They were priced much lower than the other rooms I had checked--so I expected low grade accomadations. We were all pleasantly surprised. I told the manager we would arrive by 6:00pm--didn't arrive... more

We booked the room for a King bed with Expedia and it was confirmed. When we arrived at 5:00 pm they said we would have to take a room with queen beds. They rented our room to someone else. Due to the heavy volume of people other motel rooms in the area were booked. We had booked and paid for... more

My fiance and I booked a room on Orbitz for this hotel for our honeymoon. We knew we'd be getting there pretty late so we called twice in advance to let them know we'd be a late check in, we arrived at 10 pm. When we pulled up to the lobby the lights were out, the door was locked with... more

I made a reservation for a weekend and then found this web site. I immdiately called the hotel to register my concerns because of the very negative reviews. The manager told me that new management had acquired the hotel and that many problems had been corrected and improvements made. Eh stated that the hotel was shut down for more than... more

To begin it all, I was looking forward to a petfriendly hotel which was advertised on the net. Upon arrival, there was a No Pets sign in the office. Also, after making reservations over the phone, when we arrived, there weren't any reservations made for us, but we ended up staying anyways. After trying two keys to our assigned room... more
