Booked through Priceline for New Year's Eve. Location worked well to take train to West End / Victory Plaza / Stars game. Check in was uneventful, valet parked the car. Valet was backed up, but no big trouble. He did give us a heads up that it would probably be 20 - 30 minutes the next morning, so that helped.... more

Our hotel room in the Westin was very nice, and probably worthy of four stars. However, the hotel is attached to the very tacky and dated "Plaza of the Americas" in the dead and boring downtown area of Dallas. Probably this is a great choice if you're staying for business, but we were just having two nights in Dallas while... more

Booked this hotel through Priceline. Paid $93 with taxes. Got to the hotel around 11 p.m. and it seemed like no one was staying there. The hotel is connected to a "shopping" area. I think maybe 10 years ago it was really nice, but you could tell things had been pretty slow around there for a while. The "shopping" area... more

I booked this 4 star listed hotel on priceline.com. For the price I paid, it wasn't bad at all. The list rate was 269 dollars. For that price, this hotel is not worth it at all. There was little to no decorations on the wall. The toilet was dirty upon arrival and it certainly was not a "heavenly" bed. The... more

I stayed at this hotel for two days in August of 2008. Upon checking in I was asked if I wanted the key for the refrigerator. I specifically told the clerk no. I used only the internet access. One week after my trip, I found a charge for over $130 on my card. When I called back, I was told... more

I am a recruiter so I travel a LOT. I typically stay at Hilton's but this time we needed a hotel restaurant in the heart of Dallas for a business dinner. From start to finish the staff at the Westin was surprisingly unprofessional. Here are the things I observed and found to be disappointing and impacting the business I was... more

The hotel, while still nice, has declined since my last stay in May 2006. The most obvious example was the plastic-wrapped plastic cups in the bathrooms, compared with the glasses they had before. Service was still very good and it's a very convenient location, so still a good choice for downtown. more

I stayed here 10 years ago when it was the Le Meridian and it was a classy place. The age shows a bit in places now that it is the Westin. It is still a good hotel for downtown dallas but parts of the hotel were worn and looked old. Rooms were nice. Very comfortable beds and widescreen tvs. Spacious... more

Located downtown but not to far from the uptown area where there are some decent restaurants. I stayed in a King bed size room and it was just ok. Westin is know for their Heavenly beds and thats all this hotel had to offer. The room was quite small and looked dated. I have stayed at Fairfield Inns that look... more
