We stayed here for 2 nights for an event that we were attending. There may be a totally different experience if you stay here in the winter but we found it rather dull. All of the buildings in the area are made of concrete - not attractive or warm. There is no good shopping and there are good restaurants -... more

We stayed at the Cliff Lodge and Spa because we were at a three day conference. Conference facilities and services were excellent. Room was very comfortable. We understand this is an expensive place to ski. The Aerie Restaurant was excellent...and should have been because it's also expensive. Windows in our room and Aerie restaurant were streaked. Customer service was very... more

Stayed here for two nights as part of a convention. The hotel itself is a concrete block with the odd bit of disguise such as wood panelling and carpets. Its a bit of a rabbit warren. Bar on the top level was pleasant enough. The pool and spas looked good but, I suspect, a bit small to accommodate everyone at... more

We stayed at the Cliff Lodge for 3 nights over the last weekend in June, for a Birding Convention. The place is huge-tons of activities are available and all the employees are very friendly and helpful. The Valet Parking is free (although we gave gratuities both coming and going). There are two beautiful pools, and although we didn't eat in... more

My husband and I decided to go to the cliff Lodge for a quick weekend getaway, since we live in Salt Lake City. We arrived at around 7:30, checked in, and then went to El Chanante. It was awful. The appetizer was pretty good and then both of our entrees were questionable, and it was extremely overpriced. After dinner we... more

We attended a conference that was held at the Lodge at Snowbird and were impressed by the beautiful snow and surroundings (mountains, trees, etc.). We were able to upgrade to a room with a tempurpedic bed which was a nice option. The rooftop hot tub was nice to utilize in the winter. We stayed on the spa level floor and... more

Stayed here in 2005 on a group trip from UK . This is the worst place I have ever stayed in! The service is substandard the food at breakfast was OK! but we had a group dinner in the top restaurant it was a complete farce service was slow 3 hrs + for service and the food Gordon Ramsey would... more

Just returned from a three day weekend at Snowbird's Cliff Lodge. Although I really couldn't say that anything about my experience was bad, their was also nothing great or wonderful about the lodge which for the money spent I would have expected a bit more. My room was nice and had a good view of the snowy mountains. The bed... more

Stayed here for a week for a scientific conference at the end of March and beginning of April. I was excited to go skiing during the day. The mountain was beautiful and still had tons of snow even in April (Over 500 inches)! It was a bit chilly at the top during one of my days there - only 7... more

The staff is not at all guest focused. I was treated horribly by the front desk manager when asking for a refund on unused services. Food service employees were unprofessional. Most are seasonal students that are really only there to ski. Food at the restaurants is mediocre to poor with the exception of the Sushi Bar. Steer clear of El... more
