As a family of 4 with 2 young children, we weren't sure about renting an apartment in a block- it didn't look like that much and the whole block is somewhat ugly against the coastline. We stayed in Casas Karen with 5 people (parents and 3 children (15-13-6 years)). An we all had a great time. The houses are very nice, not steril, but decorated with love. We've just come back from 4 nights at Casas Karen where we got exactly the kind of break we were yearning for, with privacy, peace and quiet, simple comfort, the sea, and a warmer clime from where we'd come from. We stayed at Casas Karen for 7 days in September. The place has a nice feel to it - the guests each have their own little house or apartamento and you rarely bump into anyone else, so it's not a hippie commune experience! We had one of the smaller apartamentos which was very sufficient in size and clean as well... more
