When we arrived we were greeted at the front desk by a nice man but could not speak much English, he gave us our key to our room and told us roughly were it was. What he forgot to tell us was that there were no lifts directly to our floor, so we had to trail 4 suitcases up 3... more

I have read a lot of reviews concerning this hotel in trip advisor, most of them are really bad, and this review will only confirm it. I spend some Hollidays at that 'place' this summer, with my family. The first impression (as we arrived in the night) was a spacious room. No bath, but a large opened shower, quite clean... more

We booked this holiday as a group of five women and had the most amazing time. Firstly it is very quiet, up market and peaceful but we soon changed that. It is set in a variety of complexes of the main hotel each area has a pool and dining facility. The rooms are exceptionally clean and catered for our needs... more

After arriving late at night, around 11:30, my dad and I were fairly tired after a days travelling and waiting. Excited to finally get to our room and lie down, we were told we didnt have a room (although we had booked and been given the okay some 2 weeks beforehand!!!!)!!!!!! "Nope sorry, we are over-booked, theres nothing we can... more

Thank God for the beautiful beach or this trip would have been a disaster area. Was traveling with my teen-age daughter. Upon arriving late at night at Mandia we were told that they were overbooked and our room would not be available the first two nights! After arguing in a state of shock, we were put in a taxi and... more

Oh dear.....where do I start with this place? We booked at the last minute on line to escape the wet British Summer for a week. We had stayed at the Insotel Punta Prima Prestige and thought they would be of a simillar quality......how wrong we were. We arrived at about 9pm and the reception area looked quite pleasing and gave... more

The following description relates to our latest holiday in our until then beloved Mallorca island in August 2006 at Insotel in Cala Mandia. I must say I was first impressed by the size of our room; what did not strike me at 3 AM in the morning when we arrived was the smell of mould. The smell remained very strong... more

We visited the Club Cala Mandia in December 2006, from the 27th until the 31st. Since we booked directly, we had to pay 51 Euro each per night with half board. You reach the area by car within about 80 minutes (from palma airport). Staff was friendly and helpful. Sauna was not working (since August 06!); and since we really... more
