I spent 10 days here recently and loved it. Yes, the chickens can be a problem, but it was a really minor inconvenience - more concerned about the sanitary conditions with them free to leave messes anywhere! Every day, I spent some time on the lanai looking across Hanalei valley at Mt. Namolokama with its' beautiful waterfall and all the... more

Our family of 5 (hubbie, myself and 3 boys ages 12, 12 and 10) stayed at Bali Hai Villas from 8/21 - 8/28. We all had an awesome time! Although we did an exchange through RCI we were given one of the refurbished units. We were in unit 520 which was very centrally located within the property. We were close... more

This is an awesome timeshare.. I only wish there was airconditioning but most places in princeville do not have air. It was not bad because the temp drops at night and there is a good breeze even int he summer... Awesome location on the north shore... Sushi blue is a great restaurant. Napali Kayak is an awesome tour guide and... more

We stayed in room #220 for a week over Spring Break 2008. We were right near the office, second floor, corner apt. It is nice, and the pool area is AWESOME! The rooms need updating, but we had a ball! The kitchen was very nice, and the unit was somewhat spacious. The only complaint I have is the guest bedroom... more

We are timeshare owners and exchanged into Bali Hai Villas for one week March 4 to 11, 2008. We lucked out getting a ground floor corner two-bedroom unit with lots of privacy. Outside our terrace was a lovely pond, waterfalls and tree. One of the main entrances into the site was within view and it was surrounded by ponds, waterfalls... more

If your looking for the hawaiian experience then Bali Hai is not for you. The view other then palm trees is absent, you can see the montains from some units, allong with dumpsters and massive construction. The rooms are clean , but apt. like. It is very easy to become lost ( especially at night ) because this is a... more

Hi! I always go to Kauai first then spend 2 or 3 days in Oahu to shop & have different fun! Why lug "gifts & extra stuff "to Kauai. This last time we went I swear we only wore the clothes we bought on Kauai. I am "packing" an empty suitcase next time!! We love the beaches here & enjoy... more

We stayed at Bali Hai in October. Yes, there were a few drawbacks such as checking in at a sister resort, finding the pool a bit cool to our taste, and the roosters starting EARLY am. But the location was great for us! Just minutes from a grocery store and local farmer's market on Saturday plus great shops and restraurants... more

I've been to Princeville several times and THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO STAY. No view. No internet availability without going to 'sister' property couple miles away (not walking distance). They claim the buildings are new-not the one I was in (2br/2ba)! Seems they've been building additions for quite some time. There was no A/C in the unit, but had louvered... more

We spent a week in February, 2008 at Bali Hai Villas in Princeville, Kauai. We are time share owners, so being solicited for a purchase was not a surprise. Our 2-br villa was beautiful, and right by the pool. Only minor complaint was the 3am cat fight and rooster crowing, but having travelled to Hawaii several times, we know that... more
