I booked this hotel for the Sugar Bowl game. It looked very reasonable and the website was impressive enough; plus I thought it was in a good enough location without all of the noise of the French Quarter. Let me just tell you it was one disaster from another here: To start, we couldn't check in until 4pm; OK, fine....they... more

This hotel was fabulous!! We went with a group of six for New Years and were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful accommodtions in such a dirty city. The room was large enough to put an air mattress on the floor for the third couple that roomed with us. Very clean and nicely decorated in the old New Orleans french style.... more

Nice hotel to stay while on a girls getaway. Located just outside the French Quarter. It was a clean hotel, nicely decorated, however the rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, so if your traveling with 4-5 women you may want a larger room. It was about a 10 minute walk from the Quarter, which is not bad, but it... more

Just got back from a stay at the Queen & Crescent with eight friends where we went to see a Saints game. The location of the hotel is terrific, easy walk to and from the French Quarter and the Superdome. Perfect for a boys trip with late nights... The rooms were small but decent and the bathrooms were below average.... more

The hotel is good for the price. The room was somewhat run down but clean. It was very small. Not even an armchair in the "standard room". I got a room on the top floor, and I couldn't get wireless internet signal. But that wasn't a big deal for me, but I didn't like that they charged the mandatory resort... more

Nothing about their on line advertising is true except for the location. There is no bar in the lobby, the rooms don't have brick walls. The rooms are dingy and in serious need of cleaning and updating. The staff is not courteous. Made a reservation for multiple couples, on the hotel website. They told us they overbooked, did not get... more

My husband and I stayed at the Q and C for Mardi Gras in 2007. The room was very nice, though small. The staff never seemed that helpful. We were lucky and found an off-street parking space without a meter and took our chances with a ticket versus paying the inflated rates for parking through the hotel. It worked, so... more

Never coming back again. Promised a King room, none were available when we checked in at noon or would be later. "Reservations does not tell us that information. Sorry." Open/used shampoo/conditioner in bathroom. Not even an "I'm sorry," just "Come to the desk" as if we are inconveniencing them. seperate fee for internet, but they forgot to give us username/password,... more

We got a great rate at the last minute through hotels.com. This hotel looks great from the outside but the rooms are very small and need a lot of work. The window sill had mildew on it, the curtains were dirty, the towels were very thin and wrinkled and the room just did not seem very clean. We were promised... more

I booked my son to stay 2 nights in July 2008 at the Queen and Crescent, booked through Travelocity and prepaid. We were surprised to find on arrival that there is a mandatory extra $6.95 "resort fee" charged that was not revealed until check-in. Otherwise very nice place and good location; only a few blocks to the French Quarter and... more
