We had such a good time that I just cant wait to share all our good experiences with our friends.

One of the cheapest trip we had (2000$ cnd ) for 24 days (23 nights). We had a junior suite. Excellent service.

We usually get bore from buffet but this time it was just wonderful. Theme buffet every night, even after 3 weeks the buffet was still appealing and good.

Hotel is not directly on the bach but about 3 minutes walk (worth it !).

As many hotels, not enough chairs on the beach on our first week (Easter holiday I guess) but after it was OK. Many Germans and Belgians on site.

Animation was ok but maybe the music is too lound on the beach. Also very limited. Sometimes we had to listen to the same CD 3 times in a row...!

The site is beautifully landscape and very well maintained.

Hope to get there again next year.

We just return from two weeks at the Viva Whadham Playa Dorada. I can't said enough how we really enjoy our trip it was the best ever.The employees at the resort are awesome very friendly and kind. If you go get to know Melvin,Cathy,Franklin,Annie,Remmy,Sally,and Rosemary but I am sure they will get to know you. The resort itself is very clean there always someone picking up leaves and cleaning the walkway to the beach and around the pool. The junior rooms are very big and always keeped cleaned by the maids just leave a tip daily and the fridge is always stocked. The buffet was excellent every day and night always a big variety of food. We did have the best part of the beach no coral and the sand was very clean and not hard on the feet. Most of the activities did happen on the beach also they played more music there to. Around the pool it was more layed back and only a few activities either way it was still awesome. The time shared people are always by the buffet restaurant. They always wore light green pants beigh shirts and blue caps. Just say no thanks firmly and they will not bother you again. My Husband and myself went with 2 other couples and everyone had the same opinion we will one day go back again you really can't go wrong with this resort... Also enjoy every minute because 2 weeks don't belong going.

This resort is cheap and the best! The staff there is amazing! During the day they are serving you and at night they are entertaining you! Water sports are so much fun, also due to wonderful staff. I would LOVE to go back asap. If you do plan on leaving resort, please bring food or candy for starving kids. The dogs are also starving and have ribs showing, bring food for them as well. That was totally heart breaking to see that.

Hotel was wonderful. Junior suite was large & clean. Maids stocked the room daily with bottled water, sprites, diet cokes etc (all included)

Meals were wonderful. Much better than the all inclusives I've stayed at in Cancun. Bahama Mamas were tasty and they didn't skimp on the rum.

Beach was great, and at lunchtime you'd have a choice of burgers/fries/hot dogs etc at the beach, or the full meal at the restuarant by the pool.

Chefs manned the carving stations, omelet stations, pasta stations, etc. With my 2 picky eaters the pasta chef had no problem making them plain pasta or pasta with just tomatoe sauce if I asked.

One great thing there: the massages! $25 for a full hour body massage! Wonderful. My other family members used the gym daily too.

Entertainment poolside was fun but not in your face. I found it entertaining watching musical chairs in the sand, water aerobics in the pool, cooking lessons poolside, bingo, etc.

Within walking distance to 2 small casinos and a small "mall"

We hired a tour guide outside the hotel for a private city tour, tour of the rum factory and visit up the cable car to the statue of Christ ontop of a mountain. Dominick gave us lots of history and it saved us alot of money compared to booking through the hotel lobby.

My kids did banana boating, para sailing and tubing for additional fees too. My daughter had her hair braided for a fraction of the cost we've paid at Disney.

Bring lots of singles, for tipping....

Lastly, the trip to Ocean World to swim with the dolpins was wonderful!!!!!
