If you have the chance to go on the trip to Mount Teide at night then don't miss it. Champagne at sunset, an excellent 4 course meal with wine and stargazing with a qualified astronomer. The jeeps take you through the mountains and little villages and you even stop at a cafe halfway up. It is a little expensive but as it was a special anniversary for myself and my husband we decided to try it. We were not disappointed and it was worth every penny. It finished our holiday on a high. Be warned though - take something warm to wear. It was absolutely freezing during the stargazing. The whole trip lasts between 5 and 6 hours.
