If your going to Jamaica this is a must see (Its one of the most visited great houses in Jamaica)...I Loved visiting such a historical great house with so much background and hearing the legend about the White Witch Annie Palmer filled with betrayal, love triangles, mystery, and hauntings. The mansion looks like it came straight out of a scary story! I loved it so much I had to write a lens about it on Squidoo. Take lots of pictures and you might capture a ghostly picture.
The Rose Hall Great House is in Montego Bay and is a really interesting piece of history in Jamaica. The women who lived there murdered her three husbands and countless slaves. Most say that the house is haunted. For an experience not like many others that you can have in the Caribbean, go to Rose Hall. There are also wonderful views of the sea from the house and it's only 5 minutes away from the Ritz Carlton hotel.
Loved the Rose Hall Great House, and what a spooky history! The house is also just beautiful, with lovely antiques and a story for each room of the house.
One of the last sugar plantation great houses on Jamaica. Wonderful tour guide with a great sense of humor who filled us full of the White Witch of Rose Hall stories.
Went To Rose Hall Great House and LOVED it. We thought it would be very boring just looking at a house. It was so intresting. It really gave you a look at Jamaica back in its day. The tour guides were great. Its a great little tour that will only take up an hour of your day. Everyone should go see this. The house is beautiful.
